Brad Baker, Esq., Vice Chair

Brad has practiced law in the state of California since 1975. His current practice focuses on estate planning and probate/trust litigation. Brad is one of the few attorneys who has had the privilege of arguing twice before the United States Supreme Court as well as twice being a member of the “Billion Dollar Club” for his role in the energy class action settlement. He is a member of the California State Bar Association and the Los Angeles County and South Bay Bar Associations. He also serves on the non-profit board of H.E.L.P. Helping Elders Live Productively for over 20 years and was honored to receive the H.E.L.P. Legacy Award in 2019. One of the top-rated estate planning and probate attorneys in the South Bay, Brad has been designated as a Super Lawyer in 2007, 2010, and 2012 – 2026.

Brandon Maloney, Treasurer

Brandon Maloney serves as Regional Manager for Farmers & Merchants Bank, where he has been a dedicated leader for the past 15 years and brings more than 25 years of banking experience to the organization. Brandon began his banking career in his hometown of Wichita, Kansas, and has built a successful career focused on relationship banking, team development, and community engagement.

As Regional Manager, Brandon oversees branch operations, business development, and client relationships throughout the South Bay, helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals while delivering exceptional customer service.

Brandon is passionate about giving back to the communities he serves and is actively involved in supporting organizations and initiatives that strengthen the South Bay. His commitment to community service and financial stewardship led him to serve as Treasurer of H.E.L.P. Inc., where he is proud to support the organization’s mission and impact.

Through both his professional and volunteer leadership roles, Brandon remains dedicated to building strong relationships, fostering community partnerships, and creating opportunities that make a lasting difference.

Peter D. Pettler, Esq., Secretary

Pete is a principal member and founding partner of Pettler Miller Aldover LLP, a Torrance law firm which restricts his practice to Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Trust and Probate Litigation, Conservatorships, Guardianships and Mediation in those areas. He graduated from the California Western University School of Law and also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkley. Pete was an active-duty Judge Advocate for the United States Army from 1968 to 1972 and served in the Reserves from 1972 to 1995 where he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He has been involved in many capacities with a number of different local, legal and community organizations.
